Broadcom 4313 wireless

Broadcom 4313 wireless… The dreaded words for any BSD using laptop user.

The Broadcom 4313 wireless device has dismal support within many *nix systems, with some supporting these devices better than other OS have.

There’s a bit of wrangling to be done in order to get this device running on FreeBSD and PC-BSD, and for this I’ll refer the reader to this site for further instructions, as it involves downloading a Windows executable and extracting the requisite files to place in the proper locations as well as editing some config-files, which is easy enough, so I’ll not add to the process any further.
